2011 Tournament Schedule

The Directors voted to break a tie for the location of the club’s seventh tournament and for the alternate location. Cross Creek was selected to be included in the scheduled seven tournaments and Lake Arthur the alternate site. The dates for the tournaments were tentatively set as follows, pending final permit approval:

Cross Creek​ April 1 8:00 – 4:00

Pymatuning (Linesville)​ May 5 ​7:00 – 3:00

Pymatuning (Jamestown)​ June 3 ​6:00 – 2:00

Erie​(3 fish limit)​ June 30 ​6:00 – 2:00

Erie Bay​ July 1​ 6:00 – 2:00

Wilhelm​ August 18​ 6:00 – 2:00

Conneaut ​September 29 ​8:00 – 4:00​

December Meeting Notes

PWBB will be again hosting the KBBC Tournament at Lake Arthur on March 31, 2012. Volunteers are needed to assist with the tournament, both in the morning and afternoon. A total of 8-10 volunteers are needed. Please consider participating, as your club banquet fee for 2012 will be covered for those that help. Larry Mayton volunteered to again provide the starter boat for the tournament.

Active PWBB members are reminded to renew their membership by January 31, 2012 to avoid paying a “new” membership fee.

Larry Mayton has agreed to undertake the duties of the club’s secretary, effective with today’s meeting.

The next scheduled meeting is set for January 24, 2012, at 7:30 PM at the American Legion in Bridgeville.

 


 

Club Meetings and Voting

 Nominations for tournaments were done at the 10/25 meeting and the tournaments will be voted on at the banquet.  Members will vote on 7 tournaments for next season.  Als0 at the banquet, members will be voting on 4 positions in the board of directors.  The nominees are Chuck Johnston, Larry Mayton, Rick Lewis, Bruce Homan, Bill Tarr, Joe Golubski Jr., and Steve Shoup.

The Club is also in need of a Secretary for next year, Lori has stepped down.  We want to thank Lori for her years of dedication to the club and hard work.

The next meeting is December 6th.  The Board of Directors will meet at 7pm  and will select the dates and times for tournaments select at the banquet.  The general membership meeting will begin at 7:30pm and the tournament dates/times will be announced at this time.

 


 

Monthly Meetings

Our next monthly meeting will be held October 25, 2011 at the American Legion in Bridgeville. All members are encouraged to attend because we will be discussing tournament locations, tournament days and officers for next season in the meeting before the end of the year. This is your time to help improve the club and share where you would like to fish. The meeting will begin at 7:30 pm.
